Security Alarm Corporation (“SAC”) was established by Kalman Nagy, laying the foundation for decades of innovation in security technology. The first employee is Agnes Allbright, Kalman’s daughter.
SAC builds an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certified central station to house the alarm monitoring systems and call center employees. The central station was staffed with one employee 24/7 with no computers or automation.
Constructed new facility at 17776 Toledo Blade Boulevard, Port Charlotte, FL which is the Company’s current headquarters. The 4200 square foot building houses the UL Listed central station in a hardened call center with redundant backup power and communication systems.
Justin launches Security Alarm Systems VA in Harrisonburg, VA with longtime friend and business partner, Ron Noel. Ron serves as President of SAS while Justin is named Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel. SAS lands its first sale in January 2022.
SAS launches its first satellite office in Charlottesville, VA after experiencing strong sales numbers in 2022. The Charlottesville office takes off quickly. Cody Peters is hired as manager in late 2023.
In early 2024, Security Alarm Systems launches a new brand: Security Access Solutions – maintaining the SAS acronym. Colloquially referred to internally as “SAS2”, Security Access Solutions opens an office in Manassas VA with the intent of capturing commercial business in the crowded Northern Virginia market.
In early 2025, SAS launches its third official satellite office in Richmond, VA. The website is revamped with a focus on commercial solutions across nearly the entire Commonwealth of Virginia. SAS now has six technicians across all offices.
